Equipment
I am equipped with state-of-the-art hardware and up-to-date security software, and regular data backups on external media ensure that any system problems do not lead to catastrophic losses of past and present projects.
I use various CAT (Computer-Aided Translation) and localization tools, in particular SDL Trados 2007. This kind of software enables me to ensure terminology consistency and, for some kinds of texts, to increase productivity.
